This is where the former presidential palace is found right on the outskirts of Kigali. The museum was opened in May 2013 and it features as the only contemporary art museum in Rwanda. If you love sports, then you have every reason to visit Amahoro Stadium. This is where you can watch sports and entertainment while in Kigali, Rwanda. The stadium accommodates up to 25000 spectators. You can also watch rugby players while in this stadium. The word Amahoro denotes “peace”, and it is also a remarkable historical site where over 12,000 people sought refuge during the 1994 civil war.

Hotel des Mille Collines is one of the historical sites located at the central business district of Kigali. This was hiding spot for the hundreds of people who sought refuge during the Rwanda genocide of 1994. Its story is also told in the 2004 fictional film, Hotel Rwanda. Today, the hotel offers luxury hotel services to visitors on Rwanda safaris.
