Day one will be dedicated for you to travel from Kampala to Murchison Falls NP in Northwestern Uganda. The 6-7 hours’ road trip takes you via Luweero-Masindi with a stop visit at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos. This wildlife sanctuary protects not only rhinos, but also several antelopes and bird species. After the rhino & other wildlife encounter, connect to Masindi to for lunch and some relaxation. Next stop visit will be at the top of Murchison Falls and check in at the lodges.

Have an early morning breakfast and after, set off for the morning game drive 2-3 hours. This will be excellently carried out in a 4x4 safari vehicle with opportunity to see giraffes, cape buffaloes, elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, oribis, warthogs, leopards and plenty of birds. Return from the game drive & enjoy lunch at leisure, then your afternoon launch cruise starts at 2:00 pm at the Paraa Jetty. Cruise along the Victoria Nile for 2-3 hours while spotting hippos, crocodiles and water birds.

After a hefty breakfast, check out of the lodge and set out to Kibale NP for a memorable primate holiday. Kibale, the primate capital of the world holds 13 species of primates, 375 bird species and many beautiful butterflies, flora. As you connect to the lodge for lunch, don’t miss to view the stunning Crater Lakes and the beautiful Fort Portal tourism city. 

Have breakfast early in the morning and after, you will report to Kanyanchu visitor center for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking rules. The park supports a total of 1500 chimpanzees and many other primates, mammals, reptiles, butterflies, birds and floral species. A chimp trekking tour today allows you stay face-to-face with chimpanzees for one hour and taking photos. After, walk back and meet the driver guide who will transfer you to the lodge for leisurely lunch break. Next will be check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a leading wildlife tour destination located in Western Uganda. 

Arise early for breakfast and meet the driver guide fully prepared for your unforgettable wildlife viewing. You will be exploring the Kasenyi plains, a region that allows you to enjoy the sight of lions, elephants, warthogs, antelopes, birds and more. Drive back and lunch will be served at the lodge, relax then at 2:00 pm, report to Kazinga channel for a launch cruise. During the launch cruise, you will be spotting hippos, crocodiles and water birds. 

Enjoy a delicious cup of tea/coffee and begin a special road trip to Ishasha sector to look out for the tree climbing lions. Settle for lunch afterwards, then proceed to the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. 

Start your gorilla safari with a briefing about gorilla trekking guidelines at Bwindi N/Park offices. This special trek with mountain gorillas guarantees one hour of a close encounter and photography upon finding a gorilla family assigned to you. Retreat from the jungles and have leisure time at the lodge before visiting the Batwa community.

After having had breakfast, begin your road trip to Lake Bunyonyi for a special leisure time. You will arrive early and lunch will be had at the lodges around the lake then in the afternoon, embark on a canoe ride along Lake Bunyonyi. 

Leave the lodge for another special boat ride to one of Lake Bunyonyi’s 29 spectacular Islands. The main islands dotted on this water body include Leper’s, Bushara and Punishment Islands, each having a distinct story to tell. In the afternoon, you will be visiting the nearby community of Bakiga or Batwa to learn more about their traditions. 

Start your trip back to Kampala or Entebbe via Mbarara –Masaka with a stopover at the Equator. Relax, take photos & proceed to hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, marking the end of 10 Days Uganda tour.
