Day 1: Take a scheduled flight to Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip-drive to Bwindi

Arrival at Entebbe Airport/Kajjansi airfield early enough to catch up with a morning or an afternoon flight to Kihihi airstrip. Land in at Kihihi where you will be picked by an experienced driver guide to be transferred to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP), southwestern Uganda.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking & evening Batwa community visit

Following an early morning breakfast, vacate the lodge for briefing at Bwindi offices starting early and after having insight on gorilla trekking rules, at 8:00am, you will be led to look for mountain gorillas. Usually, the actual trek takes 3 to 6 hours though this varies depending on how fast you can trek, nature of the habitat and location of gorillas. You will have a maximum of 1 hour to spend with mountain gorillas but while maintaining a distance of 8-10m. 

Walk back to have a relaxed afternoon at the lodge and lunch in case you never had. Later, the Batwa community visit is such unmissable experience and unique way to end your day. Learn the unique lifestyles, traditions, get entertained by dances, music performances from the Batwa pygmies who lived for 500,000 years peacefully with gorillas in Bwindi forest. They only left following need to gazette Bwindi as a national park in 1991.

Day 3: Fly back from Kihihi/Kisoro to Entebbe airport/Kajjansi airfield

Have breakfast early and vacate your lodge prepared to be transferred to Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip to catch up with your return flight to Entebbe Airport (EBB) or Kajjansi airfield in Kampala. Transfer to a hotel or Entebbe airport to fly back home.
